Without a well-defined vision, your efforts will be aimless, your message diluted, and you risk losing engagement along the way, or worst, never getting it in the first place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Step 2.<\/p>\n<p>Then it\u2019s crucial to <b>define and communicate the reasons, the \u201cWHY\u201d.<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Why are you doing this? And why now? Understanding the purpose will enable everybody to focus on the right efforts and ensure everyone\u2019s actions are aligned with the same objectives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Step 3.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to <b>build a coalition.<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Include dedicated and passionate individuals who share your vision and are committed to contributing their expertise to achieve the same goal. Collaborative efforts are necessary to achieve significant accomplishments. If not, you might have some success, but it won\u2019t last, and it surely won\u2019t make you reach your goal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Step 4.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you must <b>act with a sense of urgency.<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Without that, you won\u2019t get the needed visibility and traction, they\u2019ll be other priorities, people will be too busy, there won\u2019t be enough budget, and so on. Make it important (if it really is) and make it important now!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These <b>four simple, yet critical steps\u202f<\/b>must UNDENIABLY be followed through to ensure your success.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>John P.
